Italian photojournalist Tommaso Protti, accompanied by British journalist Sam Cowie, travelled thousands of kilometres across the Brazilian Amazon to document the issues surrounding deforestation in the region. The report, produced between January and July 2019 in the frame of the 10th edition of the Award, was presented at the MEP from December 4, 2019 to February 16, 2020.

As an extension of the exhibition at the MEP, photographs by Tommaso Protti have been displayed on the railings of the Paris City Hall from December 2, 2019 to January 10, 2020.
